Welcome to all! At St. Mary, we are committed to creating an environment that best enables our community to fully participate in worship. In the music department, we seek to fulfill that commitment by encouraging participation through the use of well-trained song leaders, thoroughly prepared choirs and instrumentalists, and thoughtfully chosen song texts that reflect the scriptural readings and lessons of the season. Anyone who has a musical talent that they would like to share with the congregation should contact the Director of Music. Save the Dates! We will be having 2 concerts this spring at St. Mary Church. Both are Sunday afternoons at 2:30 PM, and as always, they are FREE. Please mark your calendars and plan to join us. April 15 - Jeffrey Wood, Harpsichord May 20 - Spring Choir Concert featuring Marylyn Mulvey Adult Choir The Adult Choir sings each Sunday at the 10 AM Mass and for several Holy Days and special events from September through June. We gladly welcome new members no matter the level of experience. Anyone interested in singing with us should contact Jeff (musicdirector@saintmarychurchmilford.org). Music in Liturgy Music is an integral part of the liturgical experience and God has bestowed special musical talents to some in our community so that their talents can enhance our participation in the Mass. [ more ] Organ Description The Saint Mary parish pipe organ, designed and built by Casavant Frères of Quebec, was dedicated in April 2007. The installation of this organ, which is comprised of 2,107 pipes, was a project years in the making and relied on the expertise and generosity of countless members of our parish community. [ more ] Choir Descriptions Saint Mary has three choirs; Adult Choir, Resurrection Choir and a Summer Choir. The Vision of the St. Mary Church Choir is: [ more ] Folk Group The St. Mary Folk Group performs at the 8:30 AM Sunday Mass and sings contemporary and traditional hymns to enhance the liturgical experience. [ more ] Parish Musical Leaders St. Mary parish is blessed to have several key talents who lead our music program, including Mr. Jeffrey Wood, Director of Music, and Ms. Marylyn Mulvey, Cantor and Soloist.
